In the fourth and final part of the Samson series, Autumn closes out with a challenge: do you know what your weaknesses are? Samson nursed his weaknesses with women and showing off. What he didn’t realize was that the very weaknesses he kept at bay instead of handling them with the Lord became what the enemy used to get to him. What have you been using to nurse your weaknesses? Do you know what you should do with your weakness instead?

Monologue: Autumn dispels the common disbelief that “God doesn’t speak” to individuals with a recent example of a childlike sign God used to speak to her.

When your circumstances are dire, you have the opportunity to choose if you will let your faith be dictated by your circumstances or held firm by the unchanging character of God. A Shunammite woman was blessed by God through Elisha to have a son, and when her grown son had died, she didn’t look at her circumstances and say all was lost and she had no hope. She went to the man representing God and said, “It will be well.”

Monologue: Autumn chronicles her recent air travel trying to return home from a ministry trip.

Message: Autumn calls for believers to have faith like the Shunammite woman did when the face value of her circumstances were the most dire.

Sometimes God will lead us to a calling that we are not meant to see all the way through. Sometimes He might only want us to be a part of the beginning, the middle, or the end. Samson was prophesied to begin the deliverance of Israel, but he was never meant to see it all the way through. How often have we been loyal to a calling after God has left because we believe we are supposed to stay?

Monologue: Autumn shares a profound finding from her studies for her master’s degree about the martyrs of the early church.

Message: Autumn explains how Samson’s entire purpose was never to see the deliverance through to the end, but rather to begin the deliverance of God’s chosen people, because God Himself would be the one to see it to the end.
