Don’t Bring Your Enemy into Your Promised Land

You must deal with the wounds and abuses of the past before you live securely in the present promises of God.  Use the story of Joshua and the Israelites conquering the enemies in Canaan as inspiration to deal with your own “enemies” that could be lurking in your promised land. Wake Up to Your Thoughts

Sometimes, we allow our thoughts to boss us around when we should be taking them captive. We need to be aware of our thoughts because wrong thought patterns can ruin our lives.  Ask God if your thoughts reflect what is ACTUALLY going on in your attitude toward yourself and others. Trust God in the “Paper-Route” Periods of Life

God can sometimes gets blamed for “bad” or mundane life occurrences when He is actually positioning you to a place of answered prayer.  Joseph does not blame God when his life progresses from betrayal to slavery to imprisonment. He prayed and trusted God through the trials and God elevated Joseph to a place of greater impact; the same can be true for you.

Look around your life.  Watch for Jesus. He may look like a “ghost” as he did to the disciples in the boat, but He is there.
